Anxiety is managed and experienced in a variety of ways and is subjective to each person. Think of anxiety as an umbrella with different internal emotions and thoughts going on underneath it.
There are different strategies to help manage the anxiety or panic in the moment, but it’s even more important to go more in depth to get to the real issue, the internal stuff. If there is nothing to uncover, then we will definitely work with ways to help manage it.
Anxiety could also be the result of a trigger or a situation that is out of your control, which then stimulates the thoughts and so on.
Therapy is a place to talk it out and a time to take back control of your anxious thoughts.
